Unipd locations
In Padova, within a radius of only 1 kilometer, between the streets of the pedestrian center or in the university district par excellence (the Portello) unfold the university structures of Unipd dedicated to study: hundreds of classrooms, study and computer laboratories, 30 library
locations, a university hospital of excellence, the new pediatric hospital of Veneto and a veterinary hospital just 10 km from the city center.
Unipd is not only Padova
In fact, we have developed a widespread presence in the area: many research and study sites are located throughout the region, and in particular teaching sees entire degree courses take place in Rovigo, Treviso, Vicenza and many other places. In particular, medical courses are campused in many hospitals in the Veneto region and the first-cycle/Bachelor's degree course in Medicine and Surgery takes place entirely in Venice.
It was inaugurated in 1942 together with what was at the time the largest telescope in Europe, dedicated to Galileo. Today it is the campus of the scientific research of the Department of Physics and Astronomy of the University and INAF.
The Unipd campus of Asiago also houses the Museum of Scientific Instruments
Every year, our Youth House in Bressanone, in the Eisack Valley, hosts summer courses that complement the training of Unipd students. The house has accommodation reserved for those who attend the courses.
