Student representatives

The Student Council is the main body with which students participate in the organization of the University with propositional and advisory functions. It appoints the representatives of the students in the University commissions and expresses a mandatory opinion on the most important decisions concerning the student community.

Unipd students elect their representatives to the bodies of the University - Academic Senate (6), Board of administration (2), University Sports Committee (2),  Board of Directors of the Regional Agency for the Right to University Education (ESU), Joint Teacher-Student Committees, in the councils of departments, courses of study and specialization schools, in the Regional Observatory for medical-specialist training, and in the Council of coordinators of PhD courses (PhD students).

International students enrolled at the University of Padova also elect those who represent them in the International Student Council, which has the function of facilitating the inclusion of the international student component in the Paduan academic community. 

In addition, there are also representatives of the student part in many other bodies of the University, such as in the Evaluation Committee, in the University Quality Committee, in the Single Guarantee Committee.
