Researchers
In Padua there are researchers who do frontier research thanks to funding from the European Research Council - ERC. Theirs are proposals that cross disciplinary boundaries, pioneering ideas that address unexplored and emerging fields, and applications that introduce unconventional and innovative approaches.
In Padua we also promote the MSCA Doctoral Networks, which allow PhD students to start their research in international networks. In addition, after the PhD, international researchers can do research in Padua by taking advantage of the opportunity offered by the MSCA post-doctoral fellowships, which financially support international mobility.

It supports excellent post-doctoral researchers who choose Padua as their host institution through a global Talent in Research Programme syllabus that includes training and alternative funding opportunities.
Since 2014 we have been the host institution of a growing community of over 135 MSCA Fellows!

With more than 160 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual and Postdoctoral Fellowships won and over 70 ERC Grants awarded since 2014, we strongly support scientific excellence and encourage candidates who wish to carry out research at the highest level
