Elio Marconi is an Italian mathematician, he obtained has PhD in 2017 at SISSA in Trieste under the supervision of Prof. Stefano Bianchini. His research activity is mainly focused on the theory of conservation laws and of the transport equation, with a particular interest towards applications in fluid dynamics and phase-transition problems. After the PhD program in Trieste, he moved to the University of Basel to work in the Group of Prof. Gianluca Crippa and eventually at EPFL in Lausanne under the supervision of Prof. Maria Colombo. In 2021 he was awarded a MSCA Individual fellowship, the related research activity will start in September 2022 at the Mathematics Department of the University of Padua under the supervision of Prof. Fabio Ancona.
