Delivered in English, this course combines in-depth knowledge related to applied mathematics and other basic sciences, in particular physics and finance, with an advanced knowledge of the theoretical-scientific aspects of engineering in general, in order to develop advanced mathematical modeling investigation tools. A versatile training that will allow you to face experimental, computational, technological, economic, epistemological problems related to the construction, validation and use of models and to spend these skills to identify, interpret, describe, formulate and solve even complex engineering problems. You will be able to operate in different contexts such as design and experimentation support activities within engineering firms , software houses, banking and insurance institutions, public administrations and public and private research institutions.

Double degree opportunities
Students enrolled in this Master's degree programme will be offered the opportunity to apply both for a double degree programme in Mathematical Engineering with Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (Spain) and the opportunity to participate in a T.I.M.E. double degree programme with several member universities between Europe and Asia. At the end of the programme, students will obtain a Master’s degree in Mathematical Engineering (Unipd) and a Master's Degree awarded by the host university.
For more information on the double degree with Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, please contact the Secretariat of the Department of Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering.
