Foundation Year - Application

Entry requirements

  • High school diploma, obtained after at least 11 years of prior education;
  • English language proficiency, of at least level B2;
  • Dedicated entry test, which will be held online in English. More information about the entry test will be available soon.

 

Required documents

  • Curriculum Vitae, in English;
  • Motivational Letter, in English;
  • Transcript of Records of at least the last two years of High School
  • Upper secondary school certificate, obtained after at least 11 years of schooling. If you have yet to obtain your final qualification, an enrolment or provisional certificate is also accepted.
  • Passport (or national ID card, only for EU citizens and non-EU citizens residing in Italy)
  • Residence permit (only for non-EU citizens residing in Italy);
  • English Language certificate
  • Any other document required according to specific cases (for example, candidates younger than 18).

Documents are accepted in Italian and/or English. If the original documents are not in one of these languages, you will also need to submit a translation made by a professional translator along with the original document.

If you are admitted to a degree programme, you will have to submit original and legalised copies of your previous qualifications.

 

Underage applicants

If you are younger than 18 years old at the time of enrollment in the Foundation Year, you will need to provide additional documentation signed by your parent or legal guardian.
The legal guardian has to be officially appointed prior to the visa application, when required, in accordance with the regulations of your country.

 

Application deadlines

Applications for the year 2027/28 will open from 7 january 2027 to 7 March 2027.
