Is university in Italy your next big step? The Foundation Year is designed to get you there — building the academic skills, the language confidence, and the subject knowledge you need to thrive in an Italian university.
At the heart of the Foundation Year are three pillars that will shape your path to university.
- Learn Italian from scratch, building real communicative confidence: not just in the classroom, but in everyday life and future professional settings.
- Deepen your knowledge by choosing the disciplinary track that best matches your academic ambitions, whether that's Humanities, Social Sciences, or Natural Sciences.
- Walk into your admission tests prepared, thanks to dedicated workshops covering the key areas assessed in both Italian and English-taught degree programmes
Whether you completed secondary school in 11 years and need to bridge the gap, or simply want to arrive fully prepared, the Foundation Year gives you the tools to start your Bachelor's degree on the right foot.
