Erasmus+: Law

It is necessary to consult the websites of the partner Universities (paying particular attention to degree courses and language requirements) and to seek information from the Mobility Unit at the School of Law or, where appropriate, from the flow coordinator for the destinations of interest, in order to identify the exams to be taken abroad which must be entered, in the original language, in the document Proposal of activities to be carried out abroad, which must be attached to the application in Uniweb.

The destinations are available on the new interactive platform: www.unipd.it/mobility-agreements. 

You must select your Degree Programme from the Study field drop-down menu.
The total number of months indicated in the portal (item Number) for each agreement must be divided by the number of places available (item Total number).
You should also make a note of all the main information (for example: Erasmus code, lecturer in charge of the flow, isced/field of study) in order to select the destination correctly in Uniweb.

Students of the Law School can apply for the Erasmus+ Law School calls and Erasmus+ University-wide Destinations, and may be awarded one mobility place for each call. If a student is assigned to more than one destination, they may accept only one destination among the two calls.

For the Erasmus+ Law School call for applications, the selection criteria of the Law School are applied (see the Erasmus Regulations attached at the bottom), students may indicate three destinations in the application, in order of preference. Being awarded the first choice entails automatic exclusion from the second and third choices; if the first choice is not awarded, the student competes in the second or third ranking list. For the purposes of drawing up the ranking list, the evaluation of merit takes into account the credits and weighted average recorded in Uniweb by the application deadline. It is therefore necessary to ensure that the examinations taken are recorded in good time so that they can be included in the calculation of merit.

For the Erasmus+ University-wide Destinations call for applications, the University selection criteria are applied; students may indicate two destinations in the application, in order of preference. Being awarded the first choice entails automatic exclusion from the second choice; if the first choice is not awarded, the student competes in the second choice ranking list.

Attention: the ranking lists are published exclusively in the Erasmus+studio section and constitute the sole means of notification.
No personal communications are sent, either in writing or by telephone.

Successful students must accept their place according to the procedures and deadlines indicated on the page Accettazione posto Erasmus.

The Learning Agreement is an essential document for the recognition of activities carried out abroad (courses or thesis work) and must be agreed between all three parties: the student, the University of Padua and the host University.

When the Learning Agreement is visible with the status “Approved” on Uniweb, the student must send it to the host institution, according to the procedures and deadlines set by the latter, for final approval by the partners.

Any subsequent amendment to the first Learning Agreement must be made by submitting a "New Learning Agreement" on Uniweb.

Activities not included in the Learning Agreement cannot be recognised.

At the end of the mobility period, as soon as the host institution makes the Transcript of Records available (or the “Short Evaluation Report” in the case of a thesis), the Mobility Unit at the Law School will provide the student with the information needed to start the recognition procedure.

The registration of the activities carried out abroad must be completed on the basis of the latest approved Learning Agreement and the Transcript of Records issued by the partner University.
