Erasmus+: Law

It is necessary to consult the websites of the partner Universities (paying particular attention to the degree courses and language requirements) and to obtain information from the Office of the Mobility Unit at the School of Law or, where appropriate, from the flow coordinator for the destinations of interest, in order to identify the exams to be taken abroad that must be entered, in the original language, in the document Proposal of activities to be carried out abroad, which must be attached to the application in Uniweb.

The destinations are available on the new interactive platform: www.unipd.it/mobility-agreements. 

You must select your Degree Programme from the Study field drop-down menu.
The total number of months indicated in the portal (Number) for each agreement must be divided by the number of places available (Total number).
You must also note down all the main information (for example: Erasmus code, lecturer in charge of the flow, isced/field of study) in order to select the destination correctly in Uniweb.

Students of the Law School may apply for the Erasmus+ Law School and Erasmus+ University-wide Destinations calls for applications, and may be awarded one mobility place for each call. If a student is assigned to more than one destination, they may accept only one destination from the two calls.

For the Erasmus+ Law School call, the selection criteria of the Law School apply (see the Erasmus Regulations attachment at the bottom of the page); students may indicate three host institutions in the application, in order of preference. Being awarded the first choice entails automatic exclusion from the second and third choices; if the first choice is not awarded, the student competes in the second or third ranking list. For the purpose of drawing up the ranking list, the assessment of merit takes into account credits and weighted average recorded in Uniweb by the call deadline. It is therefore necessary to make sure that the exams taken are recorded in due time so that they can be included in the merit calculation.

For the Erasmus+ University-wide Destinations call, the University selection criteria apply; students may indicate two host institutions in the application, in order of preference. Being awarded the first choice entails automatic exclusion from the second choice; if the first choice is not awarded, the student competes in the second ranking list.

Attention: the rankings are published exclusively in the Erasmus+studio section and constitute the only means of publication.
No personal communications are sent, either in writing or by telephone.

Winning students must accept their place according to the procedures and deadlines indicated on the page Accepting an Erasmus place.

The Learning agreement is an essential document for the recognition of activities carried out abroad (courses or thesis work) and must be agreed by all three parties: the student, the University of Padua and the foreign University.

When the Learning Agreement is visible with the status “Approved” on Uniweb, the student must send it to the host institution, according to the procedures and deadlines defined by it, for final approval by the partners.

Any subsequent amendment to the first Learning agreement must be made by submitting a "New Learning agreement" on Uniweb.

Activities not included in the Learning agreement cannot be recognised.

At the end of the mobility period, as soon as the host institution makes the Transcript of Records (or “Short Evaluation Report” in the case of a thesis) available, the Mobility Unit at the Law School will provide the student with the information needed to start the recognition procedure.

The registration of the activities carried out abroad must be done on the basis of the latest approved Learning Agreement and the Transcript of Records issued by the partner University.
