LM 50, Educational Services Planning and Management, views education as an opportunity to design and coordinate social-educational services that support the development of individuals and communities, delving into “educational care.” Both tracks are enriched by dialogue with professional organizations and communities, offering insights into transformative educational practice. Characteristics and objectives
The interclass Master's degree program aims to train managers in the field of educational and training professions. The two involved degree classes, LM-57 (Adult Education and Continuing Education Sciences) and LM-50 (Programming and Management of Educational Services), both in the socio-educational area, maintain the distinctive features that have always characterized them and have produced successful educational and occupational outcomes in the educational, training, and social fields over the years. The two degree track have converging professional aspects in the field of Education and distinguishing elements that polarize one (LM-57) on expert knowledge and competencies in the field of training of trainers, design, programming, management, and evaluation of adult education and continuing education, and guidance in employment services and human resource management; the other (LM-50) on knowledge and competencies in coordination, design, programming, evaluation, and management of socio-educational services aimed at individuals and organizations.
The interclass program offers activities and courses in English, opportunities for exchanges abroad through specific Erasmus agreements, an international Blended Intensive Programme that takes place every year in February in Germany at the Julius-Maximilians University of Würzburg, and, starting from the academic year 2022-23, an international Double Degree program (Double Degree in Continuing Education and Management) that allows students to acquire two national degrees issued by the involved universities. The Double Degree program provides for a shared study plan, with the first year at the Padua campus and the second year at the foreign campus.
The program is blended, with classroom activities (50%) and online activities (50%). Some courses also include mandatory hybrid workshops. A compulsory curricular internship is required to be carried out at organizations affiliated with the University of Padua, in Italy or abroad.
Both classes also share a project that promotes dialogue with professional organizations and communities, through which interested and selected students can conduct research activities for their thesis in organizations and professional communities.
