Characteristics and objectives
After completing the Program, you will be in possession of an advanced set of skills allowing you to analyse, design and manage highly complex economic, production and service systems. The acquired expertise will enable you to fully understand and manage the technical-productive, human-organizational, and economic-financial interconnections inherent for all business processes. You will become an engineer capable of combining knowledge of technologies and abilities for modelling of socio-technical systems. You will also have solid expertise in project and innovation management supported by a rich set of analytical-quantitative tools.
You will be offered the opportunity to choose between two curricula, one in Italian and one in English, which, starting from a base of common knowledge and skills, are characterised the first by a greater focus on business processes, the second by a special attention to digital transformation. The two curricula respond to the increasing and more sophisticated requests that the economic world formulates towards this professional figure.
You will also complement your (theoretical) education with an internship. As part of your internship you will conduct an original project that will subsequently lead to your master's thesis. Thanks to such practical experience, you will demonstrate that you have not only mastered the problem under investigation but also you will show that you have the ability to work independently and innovatively in a complex environment such as the corporate world.

Occupational opportunities
Once graduated, you can be sure that you will have multiple qualified job opportunities. You can find employment in various business functions such as production, logistics and procurement, commercial and marketing, research, development and design of new products and processes, managerial control, administration, economic and financial analysis, as well as organization and human resource management. You can also choose between different industry sectors such as manufacturing, services, consulting and engineering, banking, and insurance. You could find employment also in public institutions such as ministries, hospitals, and more.
Moreover, if you are interested in developing even further your expertise or you want to be engaged in research activities, the Master's Degree in Management Engineering provides adequate preparation for access to 2nd level master's degree programs or Ph.D. courses in related disciplines, both in Italy and abroad.
