This course will prepare you in becoming a speech therapist, a professional who works in the field of re-education and rehabilitation of issues related to verbal and non-verbal communication, and swallowing. You will learn to distinguish speech disorders (such as stuttering, dyslexia, or aphasia) by evaluating and quantifying symptoms. The practical approach to the course will allow you to master the main tests and tools of the profession by evaluating the effectiveness of treatments, and discovering the techniques needed to correct the defects of language and swallowing. The course will allow you to directly enter the workforce and carry out activities both as a freelancer and as an employee in public or private structures in collaboration with multiple professionals (including doctors, psychologists, and physiotherapists).
