Characteristics and objectives
The course provides knowledge in the main disciplines fundamental to operate in the area of social and human services (sociology, law, economics, pedagogy, psychology, philosophy, history and more). Students acquire professional, communicative and relational skills useful to read, understand and intervene in situations of the social needs involving individuals, families, and communities as well as to promote their well-being.

Occupational opportunities
After obtaining the degree and passed the State examination, they will be able to work as social workers within the public (e.g. local health authorities or municipalities), private and third sector service, as well as self-employed professionals.

From Bachelor’s degree to Master’s degree
The Bachelor's degree gives access to the Master's degree course in "Innovation and Social service" at the University of Padova, and to all the Master's degree courses of the class LM-87 at all the Universities in Italy, and to other kind of Master's degrees according to the modalities that will be indicated in the specific admission notices.
