A course offered through distance learning in the study of methods and techniques of individuals and groups within the environment and in different forms of intervention in organizations. Students will create questionnaires and tools for detecting behaviours, attitudes, and behavioural intentions by conducting different types of interviews and to manage and communicate information through IT and various telematic technologies. Students will learn how to apply statistical analysis strategies and communicate the results with preliminary reports. Student can pursue work in public and private companies in the field of human resources or carry out research on consumerism, advertising, opinions, and interventions within the community and collaborate in the social private sector by conducting research, consultancy, training or developmental organizational activities.

Characteristics and objectives
Students achieving a degree in 'Scienze e tecniche psicologiche' have knowledge in the following domains: the foundations of the different areas of psychology; the methods and techniques of both research and intervention in social psychology; the methods and techniques for studying contextual and environmental influences as well as the different forms of intervention within the organizations.
Students acquire knowledge and skills for: creating questionnaires and other instruments aimed at assessing behaviors, attitudes, and behavioral intentions; conducting different types of interviews; communicating in an effective way, especially through computer-mediated procedures. Students are able to apply univariate and multivariate statistical analyses, as well as to draft reports based on the outcomes. They should be able to effectively communicate in a foreign language of the European Union, in addition to Italian, in both the written and oral form, especially in relation to social-psychological issues concerning work and human resources and the intervention within the organizations and the institutions.
Occupational opportunities
Graduates will have access to the world of work as specialists in Psychological sciences and techniques, taking advantage of the following opportunities: jobs in the human resource departments in both the public and private sectors; jobs and collaborations with institutions carrying out research about consumers' behaviors, advertising and opinion polls; employment or collaboration with companies and public and private organizations, and cooperative societies operating in the community for research, counseling, training and organizational development; jobs related to the promotion and development of community intervention programs.
Graduates might also access Master's degree in Psychology that habilitates for the profession of psychologist (according to the Law 8 November 2021, n. 163 and subsequent decrees).
From Bachelor's degree to Master's degree
This course prepares optimally for accessing the second cycle degree courses of the School of Psychology (that habilitate for the profession of psychologist) at the University of Padua. The admission to the second cycle degree courses takes place according to the procedures that are indicated in the specific calls.
