Characteristics and objectives
The aim of the course is to provide a solid background on basic
science (maths and physics) focusing on general and organic chemistry.
Moreover, new designing, optimization, managing and development
methods regarding transformation processes of raw materials are
studied. Multidisciplinary and scientific specialization regarding
chemical plants, green chemistry, carbon footprint, safety, energy
production, biotechnologies and designing of new and innovative
materials and processes are offered.
Occupational opportunities
The main career opportunities are in raw materials processing
industries, energy production and transformation industries,
engineering consulting companies, research centers and materials
analysis laboratories, waste processing industries, and all companies
in which safety and environmental engineer is needed.
From Bachelor’s degree to Master’s degree
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry and Materials Engineering provides
access to graduate course of Chemistry Engineering and Materials
Engineering. It provides access to other graduate courses in the
industrial and information technology area as well, with rules that
will be indicated in the specific admission notices.
