Characteristics and objectives
The Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy fosters the acquisition of knowledge in the history of philosophy, pairing it with logical, conceptual, and critical-hermeneutic skills. Students learn to think critically about theoretical and epistemological problems, about ethics, aesthetics and political theories.

Occupational opportunities
The argumentative skills and the analytical competence, partly acquired through the knowledge of history of philosophy, enable students with a BA to continue their studies and get a MA degree in Philosophy. However, those skills together with communicative and learning abilities make them also flexible from a working placement perspective, and able to adapt themselves to different jobs in information and communication sector, management and, in general, in non-profit companies.

From Bachelor's degree to Master's degree
The BA degree provides direct access to the Master's degree in Philosophical Sciences, as explained in the admission notice. It also allows for the enrolment in other MA degree courses, provided that the specific requirements are met.
