Fabio Vianello was born in London (UK) in 1962. Bachelor Degree in Biological Sciences and Master Degree in Biochemistry at the University of Padova. PhD in Biophysics in 1993 at the University of Genova, Italy, and since 2002 he is Associate Professor of Biophysics and Biochemistry at the University of Padova, Italy, and staff member of the Regional Centre For Advanced Materials and Technology, Olomouc, Czech Republic. His research interests are in nanobiotechnology, in the development of nanobiosensors and in the development of biotechnological and biomedical applications of magnetic nanoparticles. At the same time, he is working on food analysis and he is the director of the Master Course in Food Quality and Safety and at University of Padova.
