Notices

Dear Students,
This year the course of "Psychology of end of life, loss and death" will be held for a certain period of time via internet, respecting the indications of the Rector of the University of Padova.
I am already setting the lessons that you will find on Moodle from next week. Please, take a good look at the following indications:
a) it is not necessary to use any access key to Moodle, so you can use all the material freely. Enrolments can be made immediately. Classes will start on Wednesday 12 March. They will be uploaded on Wednesday and Thursday evenings. They will be recorded and can therefore be followed asynchronously.
b) Also this year, however, there will be different paths between students attending the course and students not attending the course, so those who want to be recognizable as attending (thus being distinguished from non-attendants) must register on the Moodle page of my course, fill in the personal profile page with a photograph. Moreover: we will evaluate the frequencies that must be at least 70% on the basis of your accesses; what you will have done on the page on the basis of the didactic indications; the realization of a paper related to a theme of your choice from a list that will be published on the first day of the lesson on Moodle.
c) the books that everyone must study for the exam are the following:
- Ines Testoni "L'ultima nascita: Psicologia del morire e death education" (Bollati Boringhieri)
- Ines Testoni "Psicologia palliativa: intorno all'ultimo copito evolutivo" (Bollati Boringhieri).
Attention: Attendees will be shown the parts of the two books to take to the exam on the last day of class (some chapters will be excluded only for them from the exam program).
Non-attendants must bring the books in their entirety form and also study the following chapters of the book Ines Testoni "After the worst news": Part One (Chapters 1; 2; 4; 6; 12); Part Two (Chapters 14; 20).
d) for any information please contact the two tutors of the course. They are two fantastic collaborators who work with me to make this course really important, since it offers the possibility to enter a universe of work still discovered: Dr. Erika Iacona (erika.iacona@unipd.it) and Dr. Gianmarco Biancalani (gianmarco.biancalani@unipd.it). You should contact them through the Moodle platform, but they will also be available to support you in case you simply contact them by email.
See you anon!
