Luca Rossetto was born in Rovigo, on February 4th 1964. In 1993, he graduated in Agricultural Science at the University of Padua, with 110/110 cum laude. In 1995 he followed a master course in agricultural economics at the University of California, Davis campus. In 1998 he got a Ph.D. in Forest Economics and Montana at the University of Trento. In 2001 he got a position as researcher in Agricultural Economics at the University of Padova. In 2005 he got a position as associate professor in Agricultural Economics and we was affiliated at the Department of Land, Environment, Agriculture and Forestry of the University of Padova. He teaches Agrifood Food Chain and Business Strategies in the Master's Degree of Food Science and Technology, Economics and Management of farms in the bachelor degree of organic production, Food Economics in the bachelor degree of viticulture and oenology. Since 2012 he teaches a course on wine marketing at the international master Vinifera based in Montpellier (France). Research Activity His research can be grouped into the following areas: i) agricultural policy, ii) agri-food markets, and supply chains; iii) the management of fisheries resources; iv) environmental damage assessment; v) organic farming; vi) wine markets. His research activities, has resulted in over 130 publications.
He teaches the course Agri-food chains and business strategies in the master's degree in food science and technology, farm management and food marketing within the bachelor degree in organic agriculture and the farm management in the bachelor degree in agricultural science and technology. Since 2012 he has been teaching a course on wine marketing at the Vinifera international master based in Montpellier France)
