Mirco Rampazzo received both the Laurea Degree in Electrical Engineering (2005) and the Ph.D Degree in Information and Communication Science and Technologies (2010) from the University of Padova. Then, he was a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Department of Information Enegineering at the University of Padova (2010-2019). He held visiting positions at the Lulea Tekniska Universitet LTU and at the ICE RISE SICS North, Sweden (2018). Since 2019 he holds a position of assistant professor at the Department of Information Enegineering at the University of Padova. He carries out his research in the field of advanced control applications and he takes part in scientific and industrial collaborations. He has authored/coauthored several papers on international journals and proceedings of international conferences. He holds patents on applications of advanced control techniques.

Teaching activity: he has taught classes on Advanced Contol Systems, Signals & Systems, Control Systems Theory, Feedback Control Theory, Control Laboratory, and Tools for Scientific Computing and Engineering Applications. He has cotutored/cosupervised the activities of several M.Sc. and B.Sc. students, Ph.D. students, and postdotoral researchers. He carried out continuing education activities at industries and associations. He is member of the Società Italiana Docenti e Ricercatori in Automatica (SIDRA), the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and of the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC)- Industry Committee (IndCom).
