TEACHING DUTIES
1995-1996: Assistant Professor, school of Psychology, University of Bologna.
Since 1997 she taught: Physiology, Neurophysiology, Psychobiology in different courses at the School of Medicine, University of Padova. 2003 to 2005: Master in "Etologia applicata e benessere animale" (University of Bologna and Padova).
Since 2005 she taught Physiology to Medical residents in: Medicina dello Sport, Scienza dell'Alimentazione, Ortognatodonzia, Medicina Fisica e Riabilitativa.

SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITY
At the beginning she worked in neuropsychology, studying stimulus processing and attention.
Then she worked on chemical communication in mammals, in particular in mice. She also collaborated to the immunohistochemical description the vomeronasal organ.
She also studied protein kinase A in the brain of different animal models of neurological diseases, besides human tissue.
Member of Società Italiana di Neuroscienze, Società Italiana di Scienze Sensoriali and European Chemoreceptor Research Organization.

Reviewer for more than 40 international scientific journals. Reviewer for funding calls for MIUR, EC (VII° Framework Program ), Austrian Science Fund, Israel Science Foundation.

Grants from: Università di Padova (Progetti di Ateneo, ex-60%), MIUR (PRIN), EU VI and VII FP, Ajinomoto Innovation Alliance Program.
