Scientific profile information

The research activity, conducted at a national and international level, is characterised by the adoption of an analytical perspective aimed at investigating the complexity of the multiple dimensions constituting the scientific domain of the Teaching area: design, methodology, technology. The theoretical and empirical research action, progressively deepened over time, has developed particular nuclei of interest aimed at the specific study of didactic methodologies for the development of educational and training processes both in school and university education and in extra-curricular contexts. Recent interests have focused on research into models for integrating ICT in school and university didactics (TPACK framework, ICT-TPCK, frontal and laboratory didactic integration; Hybrid Instruction Solution; Blended Learning) with a particular focus on initial and continuous teacher training and the implementation of narrative methodologies (Digital Storytelling, digital narrative documentation, video research). With regard to scholastic research and teacher training, his interest is focused on reflection on new research-training paradigms, also in collaboration with national and international networks (ATEE; Early; AACE; INDIRE; USR del Veneto; MIUR). He has more than one hundred national and international publications to his credit; projects and scientific collaborations with national and international universities; he directs a monographic series for the Carocci publishing house and is a reviewer and member of the editorial board of numerous international journals.
