Carlo Boaretti graduated in Chemical and Process Engineering in 2012 and gained his PhD in Industrial Engineering (chemical, materials and mechanical engineering) in 2016. Since 2016 he has been a research fellow in the scientific disciplinary sector ING-IND/27 at the DII, Department of Industrial Engineering, of the University of Padua following various European research projects. Since 2021 he has been a fixed-term researcher at the DII where he is lecturer for the course of Polymer Processing and Recycle for the master's degree course in Materials Engineering and Chemical Engineering and Industrial Processes and for the course New Plastics Economy: Polymers, Biopolymers and their recycling for the master degree in Sustainable Chemistry and Technologies for Circular Economy. He is author or co-author of 29 publications in international journals, 21 contributions in national and international conference proceedings, 6 contributions in encyclopaedias and 1 book.
Hes is member of the Topical Advisory Panel of the MDPI journal Processes and member of the Reviewer Board for the MDPI journal Catalysts.
