Cinzia Bettineschi holds a post-doc at the Department of Cultural Heritage: Archaeology and History of Art, Cinema and Music (dBC), University of Padova. Her main activities concern the archaeology of production and consumption with a focus on pre-roman technology, archaeometry and experimental archaeology. She's also interested in the protohistory of Northern Italy and in rock art studies. She is part of the coordination team of the excavation and the research activities related to the Bostel (Rotzo, Asiago Plateau, Italy) archaeological site, directed by prof. Armando De Guio.
She's been working for different archaeological Museums in the field of education, dissemination and organization of cultural events. She collaborates with various research teams (e.g. Archaeology and Virtual Acoustics, STEMPA, Horus 2.0) and she is coordinating with prof. Ivana Angelini the project “ArExGlass - Archaeometry and Experimental Archaeology for pre-roman Glass-working".
