Research Area

My research activity concerns the history of medicine from prehistoric times to the present day, with particular attention to the Padua medical school and the medical museology. I also deal with paleopathology, that is, the study of diseases and their evolution through human remains of the past.\nFinally, I am interested in art and medicine and its importance both in the professional training of doctors and in clinical practice.

Thesis proposals

BIBLIOGRAPHICAL THESIS ON HISTORY OF MEDICINE
In particular on the history of cardiology, the history of pathological anatomy, the Paduan medical school, medical museology, art and medicine.

BIBLIOGRAPHICAL THESIS OR EXPERIMENTAL THESIS ON PALEOPATHOLOGY
Study of human remains with macro and microscopic paleopathological analyzes, study of ancient DNA, reconstruction of the paleo diet, facial reconstruction.
