Tenured Assistant Professor in General Sociology (SPS/07), working at the Department of Philosophy, Sociology, Education and Applied Psychology (FiSPPA) at the University of Padua, where he is among the founders of the Research Laboratory on Globalization, Identity and Cultural Pluralism (Glob.I_Lab).
He is a member of the Faculty Board of the Doctoral School in Social Sciences at the University of Padua.
He participates in the Executive Board of the University Center "Elena Cornaro for Gender Knowledge, Cultures and Policies" as an Expert.
He is a member of the editorial board of the international journal of gender studies AG-AboutGender.
He coordinates the editorial committee of the Sociology, Social Research and Cultural Studies series "Intersections and Asynchronies" published by Guerini e Associati in Milan.
He obtained his PhD in Sociology of Communicative and Intercultural Processes in the Public Sphere from the University of Padua in 2004.
In 1998, he earned his degree in Education Sciences from the Faculty of Education Sciences at the University of Padua.
He is the course instructor for "Differences, Otherness and Recognition" in the Master's Degree program in Cultural Pluralism, Social Change and Migration.
He also teaches Sociology of the Family for the Bachelor's Degree program in Sociological Sciences.

In recent years, he has promoted and coordinated several national and international research projects on the social construction of homophobia and related counter-policies.
