Elena Svalduz is Confirmed Associate Professor of History of Architecture; President of Aisu International (Italian Association of Urban History: https://aisuinternational.org/) since September 2022, already in the Aisu board of directors since 2017, she is since 2021 referent for the knowledge and valorisation of the Historical Buildings owned by the University of Padua and referent of the DBC for the Third Mission. Member of the scientific council of Via Querinissima and Fondazione Piazzola Futuro, since January 2023; Corresponding Resident Member of the class of moral sciences, letters and arts Istituto Veneto di Scienze, Lettere ed Arti, since March 2023 and Resident Member of Ateneo Veneto, since May 2023.
She is mainly concerned with the history of architecture, the history of the city in the modern age and the ‘built’ landscape, topics on which she has written several contributions, published by important Italian and foreign publishers, and has taken part in numerous national and international conferences, which she has always seized as opportunities for comparison and verification.
