I conduct research in the fields of general and social pedagogy and
family education, with a particular focus on the prevention of out-of-home
care placements, the protection of children’s and adolescents’ rights,
and contexts of vulnerability, particularly those shaped by the presence of
organized crime. My research adopts qualitative and participatory
methodologies, actively involving children, families, service professionals,
and third-sector actors in the research process.
