Monica REGGIANI obtained her degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Parma in 1997, and later pursued her PhD in Information Engineering from the same university, completing it in 2001. She worked as a visiting scholar at Los Alamos National Laboratory from 1999 to 2000. From 2001 to 2007, she was a research fellow at the universities of Parma and Verona. In 2007, she held a visiting professorship at the University of Applied Sciences Bonn-Rhein-Sieg, and in 2010, she was a visiting researcher at the University of Western Australia. Since 2008, she has been a senior researcher at the Department of Management and Engineering, where she now holds the position of associate professor. Her research focuses on human-machine interfaces, software architectures, real-time systems, and autonomous robots.
