I am a researcher in Sociology of Cultural and Communicative Processes at the Department of Philosophy, Sociology, Pedagogy and Applied Psychology at the University of Padua.
My research concerns the valorisation of religious cultural heritage, both tangible and intangible, in increasingly plural contexts. After my doctorate, I conducted research on Trentino’s historical-religious and cultural heritage. For several years, I taught sociology of tourism at the University of Trento. At the University of Verona, I participated in the European Commission-funded research SPOT (H2020) on cultural tourism in the context of Europeanisation.
Outside the academic field, I am the current coordinator of the Scientific Committee for the Via Romea Strata, cultural route of the Council of Europe. With the Associazione Bianconero I collaborate with the organisation of the Religion Today Film Festival in Trento, founded more than 25 years ago.
