Research Area

• Psychophysiological mechanisms underlying the interaction between the cortex and the heart.
• Bio- and neurofeedback trainings and devices in clinical and non-clinical applications.
• Psychophysiological correlates emotion regulation in preschool and school children.
• Psychosomatic factors in clinical populations: the role of mood, emotion regulation, cognitive alterations, and autonomic balance.

Thesis proposals

The thesis topics are consistent with the teacher's research areas:
- Clinical psychophysiology: psychophysiological correlates of emotional processing in populations at risk of mood disorders;
-Psychosomatic psychophysiology: psychophysiological mechanisms underlying the relationship between depression and cardiovascular pathology;
- Psychophysiological rehabilitation: Biofeedback and Neurofeedback training in clinical and non-clinical populations.
