I graduated in Primary Education in June 2020 with a thesis titled "Have a Good Slingerland: A Multisensory Approach to Language Arts in Newark (California)", awarded 110/110 cum laude. I subsequently won a scholarship for the PhD program in Pedagogical, Educational, and Instructional Sciences (FISPPA Department) – XXXVI cycle (D.M. 45/2013), and I earned my doctoral degree in June 2024 with a dissertation entitled "School Project: Meanings of School Quality in Four Primary Schools Around the World. A Comparison with the 2030 Agenda", awarded with honours (supervised by Prof. Emilia Restiglian).
Since July 2024, I have been a research fellow in the field of education in emergencies, working on the project "Teaching in Emergencies: Evaluating and Improving Teaching Practices in Situations of Vulnerability", under the scientific supervision of Prof. Emilia Restiglian. I collaborate with various local schools as well as national and international organizations committed to guaranteeing the right to education worldwide.
My research is conducted within the scientific disciplinary sector M-PED/04 – Experimental Pedagogy, focusing on school quality, education in emergencies and vulnerable contexts, didactic continuity, and comparative analysis of educational methodologies globally.
I am a contract professor at the University of Padua, where I teach the course "Metodologie del gioco e dell'animazione" at the Rovigo campus. I also lecture in the courses "Ricerca educativa e valutazione di sistema" and "Organizzazione e valutazione della qualità", both coordinated by Prof. Emilia Restiglian. Finally, I am a tenured primary school teacher, currently on leave to carry out research activities.
