Dr. Giovanna Marchetti is a Researcher at the Department of Private Law and Critique of Law of the School of Law at the University of Padua. Before, she was University Assistant at the Institute for Italian Law of the University of Innsbruck. She has held various visiting researcher appointments at the University of Seville; Lleida and the University of Sussex. She has been recipient of three research grants from the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law (Hamburg).
Her main areas of research and publishing are obligation law, contract law, trust law and family law. She has authored two monographys and has published a number of articles in Italian, as well as English and Spanish.
