ATTENTION

The study of history requires extensive, numerous, lengthy and thoughtful readings, which are necessary to pass the various examinations in the degree course. Therefore, we are not at all convinced that the hours of study indicated in the ministerial tables are entirely congruous for subjects such as ‘History of the 20th century’ and ‘Contemporary History’.

Moreover, we believe that students are not like chickens in a battery and that each student needs his or her own personal, subjective and very different learning time.
