Monica Fedeli

Since 2008 she has been working at the University of Padua where she carries out research and teaching activities.
Full professor of didactics, teaching and learning methods and organizational development.
The main areas of research in which she is engaged are: organizational development, human resource management, training methodology in formal and non-formal contexts, faculty development, work-related teaching and learning dialogue didactics and school-to-work alternance, active learning and teaching transformations in higher education and gender equity in professional contexts.
She has developed her skills in science by participating and coordinating research groups at the national and international level in collaboration with European and American universities conducting research and studies in the areas highlighted above.
At the professional and research level, she has been coordinating as Principal Investigator of numerous national and international competitive projects
She has been an adjunct professor at Michigan State University. U.S.A. and at Julius Maximilians University of Wurzburg, Germany and Visiting Scientist and Professor at California University Berkeley School of Education, and Boston University.
She has published more than 150 contributions in volumes and in national and international journals on the following topics:

Editing and publishing activities
She is the editor of the series: "Adult learning strategies, methods and contexts" and the series: "Profession Trainer. Pensa Multimedia, and co-editor of the journal: Excellence and Innovation in Teaching and Learning. Research and Practice. Member of the scientific committee of the journals: Educational Reflective Practices and Professionalism and Studies.

Some Academic Responsibilities:
Vice-Rector with responsibility for Third Mission and Territorial Relations.
Member of the doctoral college in "Pedagogical, Educational and Training Sciences" at the University of Padua.
Member of the steering committee of the doctoral college in "Pedagogical, Educational and Training Sciences" of the University of Padua.
Member for the Pedagogy section of the Working Group for Internationalization.
Member of selection committee of outgoing students of the University of Padua at Boston University.
Member of the selection committee of incoming visiting professors and scholars at the University of Padua for the area of Human Sciences.
Member of the EUA European University Association TPG group on the topic: Continuous Development of Teaching Competences.
Component of the INest (Interconnected, North -East Innovation Ecosystem) project (PNRR) regarding the creation of start-ups and spin-off and for continuing education.

Research activities focus mainly on organizational development, higher education teaching, experiential training methodologies in formal, non-formal, informal contexts and human resource management.

These research areas are developed within national and international projects with scholars from Italian, European and American universities.

Thesis proposals

The master degree theses cover the research areas in which I am engaged at national and international level. In particular, experimental theses are agreed with students connected to educational organizational contexts and to companies with which I collaborate and within the projects I coordinate.
These are research on training, on the development of adult skills in different contexts, formal, informal and non-formal, on research trajectories aimed at exploring the professional development of people in communities and organizations.
