The research activity, conducted at the national and international level, is characterized by the adoption of an analytical perspective aimed at investigating the complexity of the multiple constitutive dimensions of the scientific domain of the Didactics area: design, methodological, technological. The action of theoretical and empirical research, progressively deepened over time, has developed particular nuclei of interest aimed at the specific study of teaching methodologies for the development of educational and training processes both in school and university education and in extracurricular education. A fundamental theme is the study of integration processes between formal, non-formal and informal learning. Recent topics have specialized in deepening the research on models of integration of ICT in school and university didactics (TPACK framework, ICT-TPCK, frontal and integrative-laboratory teaching integration; Hybrid Instruction Solution; Blended Learning) with particular focus on initial and continuous teacher training and on digital storytelling methodologies in educational, training and research contexts (Digital Storytelling, digital narrative documentation, video-research). In particular, with regard to school research and teacher training, the interest is focused on reflection on new paradigms of research-training, also in collaboration with national and international networks (ATEE; Early; AACE; INDIRE; USR of Veneto; MIUR).
