- Investigation and reduction of psychological risk factors for body dissatisfaction and Body Image Disorders (e.g., Eating Disorders and Body Dysmorphic Disorder).

- Development and evaluation of innovative and evidence-based psychological interventions to reduce body dissatisfaction and promote a positive body image.

- Promotion of a positive body image by means of new methodologies and intervention techniques (e.g., physical activity, nature exposure, writing exercises).

- Investigation of the relation among body image and quality of life (both physical and psychological) in medical/chronic conditions (e.g., endometriosis and breast cancer).
