He received Degree in Veterinary Medicine, University of Parma, Italy (1993); license to practice veterinary medicine. He obtained the Diploma of Specialist in "Food Inspection of animal origin", Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Turin (1997). Researcher in School of Veterinary Medicine, University of Padua (1996). Associate Professor in Food Inspection and Food microbiology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Padua (2001). Confirmed Associate Professor (2005). Since 2012, part of the Department of Medicine Animal Production and Health (MAPS). He has teaching roles in degree course: Veterinary Medicine; Food Science and Technology. Participates as a responsible member of the practical training of undergraduate students in degree of Veterinary Medicine. Takes part in scientific research as a member of the research team of agents of foodborne pathogens and microbiological analysis of foods. Is author of printed publications on national and international journals, conducted alone or in collaboration with other colleagues.
