Previous research experience:
- April 2023-January 2024: research fellow at the Department of Social and Political Sciences, University of Milan, in the project ‘Multiple Ethnic Inequalities. A Multidimensional Analysis of Migrants‘ Penalty on Occupational Achievement and Health’ (MEI).
- May-October 2022: collaborator in the ‘Research on the integration, work and housing of refugees and asylum seekers, in the context of the Vicenza tanning district’ at Ca' Foscari University of Venice.
- October 2019-October 2023: PhD in Social Sciences: Interactions, Communication, Cultural Constructions at the University of Padua. Thesis title ‘Practising Presence. Topology and transnational trajectories in the Tunisian community in Italy'. Supervisor prof. Stefano Allievi, co-supervisor prof. Vincenzo Romania.

Main research interests: Sociology of migration, migratory transnationality, life trajectories of migrants' descendants, identity construction, European Islam, citizenship and exclusion, social inequalities.
