Moduli spaces of sheaves: study of the geometric properties of moduli spaces of sheaves on an algebraic variety.
Symplectic and Poisson geometry: study of varieties equipped with a symplectic or Poisson structure. Symplectic and Poisson structures on moduli spaces of sheaves.
Integrable dynamical systems: study of algebraically completely integrable dynamical systems. Integrable systems defined on moduli spaces of sheaves or on Hilbert schemes of points.
Differential equations of mathematical physics: KdV (KP, etc.) equations. Solution methods based on the theory of theta functions.
