Thesis proposals
My studies focus on the visual motion perception and the neuropsychology of vision (visual enhancement in a clinical setting with patients).
To embark on a productive and fruitful internship and thesis path, it is recommended to delve into the anatomy and physiology of visual pathways and psychophysical methods.
Students eager to learn a programming language (such as Matlab) for the programming of experimental psychology experiments are particularly appreciated.
Instruments used:
- Transcranial electrical stimulation (tDCS, tRNS, tACS)
- EEG
- TMS
- Eyelink 1000 (eye-tracker)
- Tobii pro Spectrum (eye-tracker)
Proposed thesis topics:
- Perceptual learning and visual recovery in Hemianopsia, Amblyopia, and Opticopathy
- The effects of neural synchronization with neurostimulation techniques in visual perceptual tasks
- Eye movements in hemianopia
- The role of neural and perceptual noise in the visual perception of movement
- Visual illusions
