Services

Every year, in October/November, the European Commission publishes a call for proposals under the Erasmus+ programme (Call for Proposals), which includes information on the budget available for each Action of the programme and the deadlines for submitting applications. Also in autumn, the Programme Guide is updated, providing detailed information on all activities eligible for funding under Erasmus+.

The International Relations Division – Projects and Partnerships Sector informs the university community of the publication of the Call and organises information sessions to present the funding opportunities. The Guide to Europlanning services is also available at the bottom of the page.

Below are some tips for a successful Erasmus+ project proposal.

As coordinator

  1. Contact the Area Relazioni Internazionali – Settore Projects and Partnerships by 15 December each year, so that a meeting can be arranged to prepare the documents required for the application and receive dedicated support, where requested.
  2. Have the Declaration of Honour signed by the Director of the Department or Centre to which the proposing lecturer belongs. The application must be submitted through the Funding & Tender Opportunities Portal (FTOP), selecting the chosen project type.

As partner

  1. Contact the Area Relazioni Internazionali – Settore Projects and Partnerships at least 30 days before the call deadline, so that the necessary information for participation in the project can be obtained (Partner info sheet, PIC and OID number, project list, etc.)
  2. For the types of project proposals that require it, have the Mandate or equivalent documents signed by the Director of the Department or Centre to which the proposing lecturer belongs. Should the coordinator require the Rector's signature, contact the Area Relazioni Internazionali – Settore Projects and Partnerships, attaching the Department Board Resolution authorising participation.

Submission of the application through E-Form or any other procedure provided for by the Erasmus+ call is the responsibility of the proposing structure.

After submission, it is necessary to forward the project summary, the list of partners and the proposed budget (also clearly showing the share allocated to UNIPD) to the Area Relazioni Internazionali – Settore Projects and Partnerships so that the University's participation in the Erasmus+ Programme can be monitored.

The management of Erasmus+ projects funded by the European Commission or the National Erasmus+ Agency is entrusted to the proposing structure (Department / Centre / Office).

The International Relations Area - Projects & Partnerships Sector provides technical advice on certain aspects related to project management, in particular:

  • Technical advice for the start-up of funded projects
  • Support in the drafting / revision of the Consortium Agreement, timesheets, etc.
  • Contacts with the European Commission and with the coordinating body regarding specific issues
