The Gender Balance of the University of Padua is one of the system-wide actions adopted by the University to ensure that gender-specific aspects can permeate institutional policies and projects.
The monitoring and analysis of the gender composition of the university community, launched in 2017 with the first Gender Balanceof the University of Padua and overseen annually, makes it possible to guide policies and assess their impacts, and formed the basis for identifying the objectives and actions of the Gender Equality Plan 2022-2024.

The annual updates of the indices are published in the various editions of the Sustainability Report, a document that, in addition to establishing a transparent dialogue between the university community and the local area, supports the University’s strategic choices on sustainability by monitoring their impact and effectiveness.
