Abstract
In this experiential workshop Dr. Isabel Rimanoczy will introduce a pedagogical tool - the Peer Learning Process. This is a question-based process that is used with students and faculty, and other educators of the PRME Working Group have incorporated it into their pedagogical toolbox. The Peer Learning Process is based on andragogic Action Reflection Learning (ARL[1]) principles such as tacit knowledge, relevance, social learning, reflective learning, systems, paradigm shift and integration.
Participants will have the opportunity to witness the process, then work in small teams on a current, real challenge. This will be followed by a group dialogue and debrief to extract learning and implications/applications from the experience.
[1] ARL is a learning methodology developed in Sweden in the 1970s, which Dr. Rimanoczy coded.
