Il 27 marzo 2024, la Commissione Europea ha presentato l'iniziativa "Blueprint for a European Degree", delineando il percorso che porterà, nel prossimo futuro, all'istituzione del Diploma di Laurea Europeo, c.d. European Degree.

Principali caratteristiche:

  • Attivabile per corsi di laurea triennale, magistrale o dottorato
  • Titolo congiunto rilasciato da un consorzio di università europee
  • Basato su criteri comuni stabiliti a livello europeo
  • Riconoscimento automatico in tutti i paesi dell'UE
  • Offre opportunità di studio in diverse università europee
  • Promuove l'acquisizione di competenze interdisciplinari e orientate al futuro
  • Contribuisce ad accrescere la competitività dei laureati nel mercato del lavoro internazionale

L'obiettivo principale dello European Degree è promuovere la profonda integrazione del Sistema di Istruzione Superiore Europeo e rafforzare l'identità europea nell'ambito dell'alta formazione.

Principali caratteristiche:

  • Attivabile per corsi di laurea triennale, magistrale o dottorato
  • Titolo congiunto rilasciato da un consorzio di università europee
  • Basato su criteri comuni stabiliti a livello europeo
  • Riconoscimento automatico in tutti i paesi dell'UE
  • Offre opportunità di studio in diverse università europee
  • Promuove l'acquisizione di competenze interdisciplinari e orientate al futuro
  • Contribuisce ad accrescere la competitività dei laureati nel mercato del lavoro internazionale

L'obiettivo principale dello European Degree è promuovere la profonda integrazione del Sistema di Istruzione Superiore Europeo e rafforzare l'identità europea nell'ambito dell'alta formazione.

Il 27 marzo 2024, la Commissione Europea ha presentato l'iniziativa "Blueprint for a European Degree", delineando il percorso che porterà, nel prossimo futuro, all'istituzione del Diploma di Laurea Europeo, c.d. European Degree.

Principali caratteristiche:

  • Attivabile per corsi di laurea triennale, magistrale o dottorato
  • Titolo congiunto rilasciato da un consorzio di università europee
  • Basato su criteri comuni stabiliti a livello europeo
  • Riconoscimento automatico in tutti i paesi dell'UE
  • Offre opportunità di studio in diverse università europee
  • Promuove l'acquisizione di competenze interdisciplinari e orientate al futuro
  • Contribuisce ad accrescere la competitività dei laureati nel mercato del lavoro internazionale

L'obiettivo principale dello European Degree è promuovere la profonda integrazione del Sistema di Istruzione Superiore Europeo e rafforzare l'identità europea nell'ambito dell'alta formazione.

L'Università di Padova segue con grande interesse lo sviluppo di questa iniziativa, dimostrando il proprio impegno attraverso la partecipazione attiva a progetti europei sul tema, il coinvolgimento nell'Alleanza Europea Arqus, la partecipazione e l’organizzazione di convegni a livello nazionale e internazionale e altre attività volte a promuovere l'internazionalizzazione e l'eccellenza formativa.

Un gruppo internazionale di ricercatrici e ricercatori ha pubblicato uno studio che mette in luce i vantaggi dell'idrossitirosolo per la salute cardiovascolare. Questo composto, presente nell'olio extravergine di oliva, può aiutare a ridurre l'ossidazione del colesterolo LDL, noto come colesterolo "cattivo", e a prevenire patologie come l'aterosclerosi. Tra i ricercatori c'è Francesco Visioli del Dipartimento di Medicina Molecolare dell'Università di Padova.

La ricerca, apparsa sulla rivista "Molecular Nutrition Food Research," è stata condotta da studiosi e studiose dell'Università di Padova, dell'IMDEA-Alimentación di Madrid e del CEBAS-CSIC di Murcia. Lo studio mostra che l'idrossitirosolo può influenzare l'epigenoma umano, che regola l'attivazione o disattivazione dei geni in base a fattori ambientali e stili di vita, senza alterare il DNA. In particolare, si è scoperto che l'idrossitirosolo può proteggere le arterie dall'accumulo di grassi e colesterolo, agendo nelle fasi iniziali delle malattie cardiovascolari.

«Abbiamo scoperto che questo composto modula alcuni elementi genetici che circolano nel plasma trasportati in nanovescicole, chiamate esosomi. Abbiamo inoltre identificato microRNA (molecole che influenzano l’espressione genica) correlati a processi legati al miglioramento delle malattie cardiovascolari, come i meccanismi di risposta ai bassi livelli di ossigeno e le funzioni dell’epitelio e delle cellule muscolari lisce» spiega Francesco Visioli, autore della ricerca e docente al Dipartimento di Medicina Molecolare dell’Università di Padova. Questo studio offre ora una comprensione più approfondita dei benefici dell'olio extravergine di oliva e aiuta a sviluppare strumenti per una nutrizione personalizzata, poiché la risposta individuale dipende da vari fattori, tra cui attività fisica, alimentazione e microbiota.

Un gruppo internazionale di ricercatrici e ricercatori ha pubblicato uno studio che mette in luce i vantaggi dell'idrossitirosolo per la salute cardiovascolare. Questo composto, presente nell'olio extravergine di oliva, può aiutare a ridurre l'ossidazione del colesterolo LDL, noto come colesterolo "cattivo", e a prevenire patologie come l'aterosclerosi. Tra i ricercatori c'è Francesco Visioli del Dipartimento di Medicina Molecolare dell'Università di Padova.

La ricerca, apparsa sulla rivista "Molecular Nutrition Food Research," è stata condotta da studiosi e studiose dell'Università di Padova, dell'IMDEA-Alimentación di Madrid e del CEBAS-CSIC di Murcia. Lo studio mostra che l'idrossitirosolo può influenzare l'epigenoma umano, che regola l'attivazione o disattivazione dei geni in base a fattori ambientali e stili di vita, senza alterare il DNA. In particolare, si è scoperto che l'idrossitirosolo può proteggere le arterie dall'accumulo di grassi e colesterolo, agendo nelle fasi iniziali delle malattie cardiovascolari.

«Abbiamo scoperto che questo composto modula alcuni elementi genetici che circolano nel plasma trasportati in nanovescicole, chiamate esosomi. Abbiamo inoltre identificato microRNA (molecole che influenzano l’espressione genica) correlati a processi legati al miglioramento delle malattie cardiovascolari, come i meccanismi di risposta ai bassi livelli di ossigeno e le funzioni dell’epitelio e delle cellule muscolari lisce» spiega Francesco Visioli, autore della ricerca e docente al Dipartimento di Medicina Molecolare dell’Università di Padova. Questo studio offre ora una comprensione più approfondita dei benefici dell'olio extravergine di oliva e aiuta a sviluppare strumenti per una nutrizione personalizzata, poiché la risposta individuale dipende da vari fattori, tra cui attività fisica, alimentazione e microbiota.

Il lavoro è stato guidato dal gruppo di epigenetica del metabolismo dei lipidi dell'IMDEA Food Institute di Madrid, in collaborazione con il laboratorio di alimentazione e salute del CEBAS-CSIC di Murcia e il Dipartimento di Medicina Molecolare dell'Università di Padova. Alberto Dávalos e Juan Carlos Espín, tra gli autori dello studio, sottolineano come questi risultati  forniscano una visione molto più chiara dei meccanismi molecolari alla base degli effetti benefici per la salute associati all’olio extravergine di oliva.
