The VisitUnipd team, of the Public Engagement Office (Communication and Marketing area), is responsible for enhancing the historical and artistic heritage of the Padova University through various activities and initiatives, paying particular attention to guided tours of the University's historic premises (Palazzo Bo and Sala dei Giganti in Palazzo Liviano), updating the @visitunipd social pages (Facebook, Instagram...) and planning events and initiatives.

The VisitUnipd Internship project

VisitUnipd actively involves Unipd students, Erasmus, internships and postgraduate trainees who participate in the Internship Project Guided tours of Palazzo Bo and Liviano. With this project you can live an important training experience by transmitting the knowledge acquired, in class and during the internship period, to visitors, and contribute to the enhancement of our rich historical, artistic and cultural heritage.

Opportunities

School-work training courses (formerly PCTO)
The University of Padova is the host of school-work training courses (FSL) for pupils in the last three years of high school. 
Knowing and making known the historical and artistic heritage of the University is the path that Palazzo Bo offers to students of high schools (suggested in particular for linguistic, artistic, human, scientific, classical high schools) and tourist institutes.

Curricular internship for university students
It is possible to acquire, where required by one's study plan, specific university credits (ECTS credits) by actively participating in a curricular internship at Palazzo Bo. The training experience consists in making use of both the academic knowledge acquired during the course of study and that gained during the internship period, making it available to the always large audience of visitors and guests of Palazzo Bo and Liviano.

Postgraduate internship for graduates
The training and orientation traineeship is a training period aimed at recent graduates and recent graduates that takes place, as a rule, within twelve months of obtaining the degree; it can have a maximum duration of six months. The scope of action is to enhance the rich heritage of the University: Palazzo Bo and Sala dei Giganti in particular.

Accreditation for licensed guides
Guides already in possession of the qualification to practice the profession of tourist guide, on the Italian territory, can request to be accredited to the list of guides for Palazzo Bo and Palazzo Liviano / Sala dei Giganti. Accreditation is obtained after participation in a specific training course and does not involve costs.
