Veneto Institute of Molecular Medicine

Thanks to the Advanced Biomedical Research Foundation, VIMM becomes an "operational arm" of excellence for advanced molecular research, operating in symbiosis with the Unipd academic and clinical infrastructure.

12 scientists lead their research groups, engaged in areas that are critical to health, such as the study of the brain, metabolism, cancer and muscle diseases.

The scientific director of VIMM is Nicola Elvassore, a professor at the University of Padova who deals with innovative technologies to create tissues and organs in the laboratory and develop tailored treatments for patients through stem cells.
