Università Aperta Pulse is the sector-specific career day dedicated to the political, humanities, legal, social and educational fields. The initiative is aimed at students and graduates from the schools of Law, Human and Social Sciences and Cultural Heritage, Psychology, and Political Science.

The event offers companies a space for direct dialogue with profiles graduating from the University, allowing them to present their activities and their training and professional needs; at the same time, candidates have the opportunity to present their background and build useful contacts for entering the job market.
The event takes place on 31 March from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Orto botanico di Padova (entrance from Prato della Valle, 57/C).

In preparation for the Università Aperta Pulse event on 31 March, the Career Service is organising an online meeting for 27 March 2026, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The meeting includes two parallel sessions running simultaneously in Italian and in English.

During this online meeting, the specific features of a career day will be explored and strategies will be provided to make the most of this opportunity. You will learn how to showcase your profile effectively in a short time and how to present yourself concisely yet effectively, optimising interactions with recruiters from the participating companies. The career day “Università Aperta” represents one of the main opportunities for meeting and dialogue between the University’s students, graduates and PhD candidates and the professional world. 
Interviews with companies and organisations take the form of short individual meetings at the stands, allowing participants to present their CV directly and begin a direct, informal exchange with company representatives.

The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Padiglione 14 della Fiera di Padova (entrance from Cancello B in via C. Goldoni 8, Padua).

The meeting will consist of two parallel sessions held simultaneously, one in Italian and one in English.

Online workshops ⏬ 19 May 2026
On Tuesday 19 May, presentation workshops are scheduled for some of the participating companies. Each workshop lasts 45 minutes and takes place online on Zoom. To take part in the workshops, it is necessary to register at the following link.

On Thursday 1 October 2026, the customary meeting between local companies and students and graduates of the School of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of the University of Padua will take place.
The event will be hosted from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the first floor of the Edificio Pentagono at the Campus di Agripolis of the University of Padua in Legnaro (PD).

The initiative, organised and promoted by the Career service and the School of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of the University of Padua, represents an important opportunity for companies to meet young people from degree programmes in the agricultural, forestry, food and animal sectors, in order to present their organisation and their educational and professional needs, including through the use of certain tools, such as work placements and the traineeship, which facilitate their entry into the labour market.

The event has free open access, and interviews with the participating companies are primarily scheduled before the event. However, it is still possible to attend the event on the day itself and meet the companies by waiting for available time slots in addition to those already scheduled.

From 14 September 2026, candidates can register via the online platform.
Applicants can choose from the available time slots for each company they are interested in by registering for the event through the dedicated website, by 29 September 2026.

Just a few minutes are enough to gain greater confidence, refine responses and prepare for traineeship and job opportunities.

Università Aperta IES is the sector-specific career day dedicated to Engineering, Economics and Science. The event encourages direct dialogue between companies and students, recent graduates and graduates, offering the opportunity to take part in brief individual interviews at the stands and present their educational and professional background.

In the days preceding the event, company presentation workshops are scheduled (45 minutes each).

Università Aperta PhD is the sector-specific career day dedicated to PhD holders and PhD candidates of the University, held every year in March. The initiative, organised and promoted by the Career Service of the University of Padua, represents an important opportunity for companies to meet young researchers, introduce their organisation and their professional needs related to innovation and development (R&D sector), as well as to facilitate their possible employment in a business context.

The next edition of the Università Aperta PhD career day will take place online on Thursday 20 March 2025 on Zoom.

As this is a career day aimed at a highly qualified target audience, the Career Service arranges interviews with companies in the form of short individual online interviews. The interview schedule is communicated a few days before the event.

During this online meeting, we will explore the key features of a career day and provide you with strategies to make the most of this opportunity. You will learn how to highlight your profile in a short time and how to present yourself concisely yet effectively, optimising your interactions with recruiters from the participating companies. Business game is based on the ability to analyse and create a forecasting model on the basis of a real data set, followed by individual introductory interviews with the participating companies.

The competition, open to enrolled students and graduates of the University of Padua able to work as data scientists, is individual. Those who have applied must bring the hardware (computer or tablet) and software material they consider necessary to carry out the analyses. During the competition, any programming language or software considered appropriate and suitable may be used. Responsibility for ownership rights and the licences necessary for the use of any software lies with each individual participant.
For the top three ranked participants in the business game, provided they have attended the interviews with the companies present, prizes in Amazon vouchers are available.
Applications to apply are open from 21 March to 4 April 2025.ù
All CVs are made available to the companies.

Programme for the day – 10 April 2025

9 a.m.–1 p.m.: Business game
The forecasting ability of the candidates’ models is based on an external database and is therefore an objective (and quantitative) assessment: on the basis of these results, the score and ranking of the participants are established.

2.30–6 p.m.: interviews
Those taking part in the business game attend online interviews with the participating companies.

To take part, it is necessary to register via the platform www.universitaperta-unipd.it, attaching your CV and compulsorily booking an interview with at least three companies to have the possibility of winning the prizes.

Business Game warm up – 28 March 2025

To prepare in the best possible way for the Business Game, on Friday 28 March the preparatory meeting Optimize Your Profile, Maximize Your Opportunities will take place.

During this meeting, we will provide you with strategies to make the most of this opportunity. You will learn how to highlight your profile in a short time and how to present yourself concisely yet effectively, optimising interactions with recruiters from the companies present. The aim is to prepare you to turn these brief meetings into potential career opportunities.

The meeting in Italian will be held at 9.30 a.m. and will be followed by a CV check.
For English, the meeting begins at 11 a.m.

The event is held in person in room SC20 of the Department of Statistical Sciences within the Complesso di Santa Caterina in Via Cesare Battisti, 241 (Padua).

It is possible to take part without booking until the maximum room capacity is reached.

The CV check is an individual session with the staff of the Career Service of the University, during which you will receive personalised feedback, targeted advice and practical suggestions to improve the effectiveness of your CV.

To take part, bring a printed copy of your CV with you or have it ready on a digital device (smartphone, tablet or laptop).

The meeting includes the simultaneous running of two parallel sessions in Italian (in room 1P - Edificio Pentagono) and in English (in room 2P - Edificio Pentagono).

During this meeting, the distinctive features of a career day will be explored and strategies will be provided to make the most of this opportunity. Participants will learn how to highlight their profile in a short time and how to present themselves in a concise yet effective way, optimising interactions with recruiters from the participating companies. The objective is to prepare participants to turn these brief meetings into potential career opportunities.
At the end of the plenary session, participants will have the opportunity to stay for a CV check with the career advisors of the Career Service.

On Thursday 6 November 2025, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the sector-specific career day Università Aperta IES will take place at Pavilion 15 of the Padova Fair, organised by the Career Service of the University of Padua to facilitate meetings between companies, students and graduates from the Schools of Engineering, Economics and Science of the University of Padua.
