UniSMART – Fondazione Università degli Studi di Padova
UniSMART – Fondazione Università degli Studi di Padova is the foundation of the University created to promote Technology Transfer and Post-graduate Training and is the meeting point between university excellence, the business world and private and public stakeholders.
The goal is to enhance university resources and skills by establishing and managing short- and long-term collaborations that involve all the professors, researchers, students and staff of the University and the partners of its Open Innovation Community.
The foundation also enhances patents, activates and manages research and innovation consulting projects, provides training through professional master's programmes, corporate and lifelong learning courses, promotes European collaborative projects and activities with students and PhD candidates.
The UniSMART Community is the ecosystem around which the open innovation paradigm takes shape. Multinationals, SMEs, startups, banks, trade associations, municipalities and organisations engage with one another and with the University, exchanging ideas and creating value through UniSMART initiatives.
UniSMART acts as a bridge between scientists and entrepreneurs or managers, responding to the needs of private and public organizations interested in embarking on innovation paths.
