Course Change Agent
The course aims to train lecturers who wish to commit themselves to promoting activities to improve teaching and learning within the degree programmes of their own department and across the University. Access is restricted to those who have taken part in at least one basic and/or advanced pathway for improving teaching.
The pathway is intended for permanent Unipd lecturer staff, lasts one year, and is organised into monthly meetings lasting 3/6 hours, for a total of 40 hours.
At the end of the course, an open badge Change Agent will be awarded.

Course contents
- The role and functions of change agents: teaching and organisational development skills
- educational leadership: factors and dimensions
- strategies to promote the involvement of colleagues and students in the organisation of teaching
- educational coaching tools to support colleagues in promoting change
- self-assessment methods and tools and reflection on teaching practices
- coordination and management of working groups
- characteristics and potential of a learning community
- peer observation
- criteria, descriptors and indicators for the assessment of learning
- action research to study and improve individual courses, degree programmes, and to promote teaching innovation in departments
