Summer School Experience - Useful Information for High School students
Participation requirements
- Being enrolled in secondary school or recently graduated
- Being born between 1st January 2008 and 31st December 2010
Required documents
- Curriculum Vitae, in English;
- Motivational Letter, in English;
- Certificate of enrollment in High School, preferably with Transcript of Records or grade report
- Passport (or national ID card, only for EU citizens and non-EU citizens residing in Italy)
- Any other document required according to specific cases (for example, candidates younger than 18).
Application
You can apply for up to two Summer Schools and participate in one or both weeks.
Applications for Summer Schools 2027 will open in November 2026.

Fees
The participation fee for one week is €500; the participation fee for two weeks is €900.
Participation fees cannot be waived or reduced.
Visa
NON-EU students must check the requirements for entering Italy on the following web page: https://vistoperitalia.esteri.it
The University of Padova will not issue any letter of invitation. Admission letters for visa purposes can be provided upon request, subject to full payment of the participation fees.
Accommodation and meals
Accommodation is granted but not included in the participation fee.
Students will be able to dine at the university canteen.
Underage participants
If you are younger than 18 years old when the Summer School takes place, you will need to provide additional documentation signed by your parent or legal guardian.
The legal guardian has to be officially appointed prior to the visa application, in accordance with the regulations of your country.
